SkippyBAG provides a stump grinding service. The SkippyBAG stump grinder is fitted as an attachment to our machine, once the stump has been removed we can clear the site with our machine, disposing of debris into a SkippyBAG. It is important to have stumps removed as termites are attracted to stumps as part of the natural decay process, Termites could potentially use roots of trees and/or stumps in the ground to gain protected access through termite chemical barriers that have been placed in the ground around structures, so when considering removal of stumps the pruning of tree roots in close proximity to the dwelling should also be considered. Tree root barriers should be considered beyond the drip line of structures as a matter of good practice, property owners should be wary of appropriate installation of tree root barriers as the tree root barrier does have potential to cause alterations to the soils and can change the moisture levels of soils inturn causing cracking to structures.
